When reviewing inspection results and you see this indicator, an image or sound recording is being uploaded from the technicians tablet. In the past technicians needed to wait for all images and sound recordings to complete uploading on the tablet before submitting an inspection. Now, in the most recent SmartFlow app update, technicians are enabled to work on another vehicle while inspection data uploads in the background.
The upload in progress indicator alerts the service advisor reviewing the inspection results that an image or sound recording is on the way.
On the Todays Vehicles Page (TVP) 2.0, the images and sound recordings will automatically appear as they are uploaded, there is no need to close the work order.
