The AutoVitals TV crew was on the ground at VisionKC 2013 last weekend to take the pulse of the auto repair and service industry from 2000+ Attendees, Trainers, Shop Owners and Automotive vendors.

AVTV-LogoDuring our interviews we uncovered a few common undercurrents taking hold.  And the primary comment we heard from all participants is how technology changes are shaping the face of the industry.  Mobile devices in the form of smart phones and tablet computers have become mainstream tools for use in all walks of life and are finding their way to the shop floor.  In particular, access to the internet on the go has radically changed the way motorists find shops online and educated themselves about auto repair and service.

The the following video is a short sample of the interviews we captured at the show. Stay tuned for more AutoVitals TV interviews and live action videos from Vision 2013.

In this segment, we talk with Chris Chesney from CARQUEST about some of the trends he has been finding and how CARQUEST is reacting to meet the future needs of customers and the automotive industry.
